Refund Rules
Last updated 28 July 2026
This page explains when you can get your money back for an Aspiraa subscription, how to ask, and how long it takes. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
1. Try before you pay
Aspiraa has a free plan with no time limit and no card required. We genuinely recommend using it first — build a timetable, ask Aria a few questions, take a quiz — so you know the Service suits you before paying for anything.
2. The 7-day refund window
This applies to your payment for Plus or Pro, monthly, quarterly or yearly.
3. After 7 days
Once the 7-day window has passed, a payment is generally non-refundable, because you have had access to the paid features for that period. Specifically:
- We do not give partial or pro-rata refunds for the unused remainder of a month or year.
- We do not refund because a plan was not used. Access being available is what you paid for.
That said, if something went genuinely wrong — a major feature was broken for a long stretch, or you were charged in a way you did not expect — write to us. We would rather sort it out than hide behind a policy.
4. Cases we always refund
- Duplicate payment — you were charged twice for the same period. We refund the extra charge in full.
- Money debited, plan not activated — if a payment succeeded at your bank but your plan did not activate and we cannot fix it, we refund in full.
- Unauthorised payment— a payment made from your account without your knowledge, or by a minor without their parent’s consent, once verified.
- We close your account without cause — we refund the unused portion of the paid period.
5. Cases we do not refund
- Requests made more than 7 days after payment, except as described above.
- Accounts suspended or terminated for breaching our Terms & Conditions.
- Dissatisfaction with an exam result, rank or score. Aspiraa is a study aid and does not guarantee any academic outcome.
- Problems caused by your device, browser or internet connection rather than the Service.
6. Failed payments
If a payment fails but money leaves your account, it is usually held by your bank or by Razorpay and reversed automatically, typically within 5 to 7 business days. No action is needed from us. If it has not returned after 7 business days, send us the payment reference and we will chase it with Razorpay.
7. How to request a refund
Email officialaspiraa.in@gmail.com from the address registered on your Aspiraa account, or raise a ticket from the in-app Support page, with:
- your registered email address;
- the plan you bought and the date of payment; and
- the Razorpay payment ID from your receipt, if you have it.
8. How long it takes
| Stage | Timeline |
|---|---|
| We acknowledge your request | Within 24 hours |
| We approve or explain our decision | Within 3 business days |
| We initiate the refund with Razorpay | Within 2 business days of approval |
| Money reaches your account | Usually 5–7 business days after that |
Refunds are always returned to the original payment method — we cannot send a refund to a different card, UPI ID or bank account. The final leg depends on your bank, so the last step is outside our control.
When a refund is issued, the paid plan ends and your account returns to the Free plan. Your data, notes and progress stay with you.
9. Cancelling
Aspiraa plans do not auto-renew, so there is no recurring payment to cancel and no risk of a surprise charge. Your plan simply runs to the end of the period you paid for and then reverts to Free. You can keep using Aspiraa on the Free plan for as long as you like.
